Obituary of James P. Donohue

James P. Donohue of Manchester, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Patrick and Marie (Kattowski) Donohue, James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He went on to build a successful career as Vice President for J.P. Morgan Chase.

Beyond his professional life, James had a true passion for woodworking. He was a dedicated member of the “Renaissance Woodworkers of Manchester, NJ” and also gave back to his community through his longtime membership in the Rotary Club of Morris Plains, NJ. An avid sports fan, he also loved to watch football, basketball and baseball.

James was predeceased by his siblings Patrick and his wife Claire, and Rosemary. He is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret (Taylor) Donohue; his loving daughter Ann  and her husband Brian Jozwiak of Rockaway, NJ; and his cherished grandchildren: Brianna and her husband Michael Jones, Patrick Jozwiak, and Taylor and her husband Connor Grant. He also leaves behind three adored great-grandchildren: Rylan Jones, Cameron Jones, and Oliver Grant.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:30 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834.
