Horace William Cully, 93, of Hanover Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Born in Orange, NJ, Horace was the son of the late James Robert and Ruth Frances (Oyler) Cully. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, where he developed a lifelong passion for aviation, working on and learning about aircraft. After his service, he enjoyed a long and successful career with Bell Telephone and later as a manager at AIM Telephone in Parsippany, NJ, before retiring in 1988.

Horace was a man of many interests. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting and fishing, as well as reading and collecting Oliver Tractors and was a member of the Hart-Parr/Oliver Collectors Association. He cherished his family deeply and loved sharing stories from his Navy days, his work, and his many hobbies.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of many years, Betty Lou (Pfitzenmayer) Cully, in 2011, as well as his siblings Bob, Dick, Ellie, and Francis.

Horace is survived by his four children: James Cully of Parsippany, NJ; Joan Cully of Cedar Knolls, NJ; Brian Cully and his wife Jennifer of Landing, NJ; and Robert Cully of Bethlehem, PA. He also leaves behind six loving grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Thomas, Jack, Catie, and Sean Cully.
