Carol, Bob and Ken, oh my gosh I just heard this sad new and didn’t even know that your mom was not well. I’m so so sorry for your loss. You know we will miss your mom in the neighborhood, she was such a constant light - always smiling - whether sitting out front, or running into her at Foodtown. And all those memories from when we were little - she made us shell noodles with butter after school and I always thought that was the best thing. And of course my Mom just loved her too. . Carol you were an amazing daughter, always with her. Sending you all love at this difficult time xo ( PS I put a heart emoji but emojis are not supported, but she should have hearts)

Mom (Barbara) was my mother-in-law for over 38 years. She was not your stereo-typical mother-in- law. In fact, she was exactly the opposite. She was wonderful. She was my 2nd mom.
Along with my own mother, she was the kindest, gentlest, most generous, thoughtful, caring, giving person I have ever known.
Her & Dad were a huge part of our family. They were always available anytime, all the time. We were extremely fortunate to have them so close for so many years. They attended every game, school event, holiday, family event & many Sunday family dinners.
Everyone loved her & for good reason. She was happiest when she could make everyone else happy.
She was everyone's grandma.
If everyone could keep a little bit of Barbara in them they would definitely be a better person & enjoy life more.
I am so grateful that she was such a big part of our family for so long, but that is going to make us miss her even more,
Mom, thank you for everything. You were a great mom, a terrific grandma & a fantastic 2nd mom.
Please watch over all of us. God Bless you. We love you.
