To Karen,Jeanette and Kristen, For all the wonderful times we spent together will be forever in our hearts.. never will forget the days of rafting deck parties birthdays and holidays we all spent together. Kevin being around in the summer and hanging out at our pool, calling ourselves the lunch bunch with all the ladies and Kevin who was one of
us. All of the kids growing up together, loving and caring and watching out for each. We were a big Rainbow family. Till we meet again RIP and know you are loved . Love the memory of one more no more thank you Carol

I met Kevin from one of his many famous family reunions. Though I knew him for just a short time, he was a funny and caring man that loved his family. His classic stories were a hoot and his smile was contagious. Rest in peace.

I extend my condolences to Jeanette, Kristin, and Karen.
Mr. Murphy AKA: Poppie will always hold a special place in my heart. I became friends with the Murphy girls in My teens and quickly became a permanent fixture @ the Murphy house. He allowed me(this Feral kid from the neighborhood to become part of their family..) He took me in like I was one of his own… Never in a million years Did I think my friend’s dad was going to become one of my favorite humans!!
As You entered the House he’d greet ya with a nice hearty Hey Now and most likely he’d be sitting in his spot @ the table doing a crossword puzzle and throwing back a few cold ones Because according to him it was 5 O’clock somewhere!! He was funny as Hell and always had me laughing within minutes. I think he missed his calling in life doing stand up!
Poppie had a huge heart and He had huge presence to him that drew people to him. The house was always busy almost electric…
People in and out popping in for a cocktail After a long days work or just getting away from their wife/husband/kids. Mr.Murphys door was always open and he was most likely willing to have a cold one with ya!!!
I will always remember the little things about him
Like how He LIKED the First Bite of his Pizza…..
How Denville Dairy was a close second to beer!’
No matter how Much Krissy begs for a q-tip you don’t get her one!!
The way he yelled BAM!!!! as He beat my Ass In a game of Skip Bo..
The list goes on and On…
I’ll be ever grateful for all the times we spent together making memories that will last my entire life
My wish for Poppie is that he is at eternal peace and that he is surrounded by Loved ones that he’d been missing way too long.
I have a feeling he is defiantly someone’s guardian, angel!!
And if he’s gonna haunt me, I sure do hope it’s not in the bathroom!!! I’ll have a BLUE Christmas without you…high Pitch(do do do do do!!!!)
You’ll be forever Missed

Karen, Jeanette and Kristin,
i could write a book and fill it with memories.. Mostly good memories but a few sad ones along the way too..Camping. Card games.. Oh my goodness.. Trying to keep Kevin and Pete focused and not cheating. VCR sharing, hide and seek, dinners together, the lIst could go on forever..
I am forever grateful that you and your family became a part of the 50 years we have spent in Rainbow.. He was truly one of a kind and someone I will keep close in my heart.
He was always so proud of his girls and now he is reunited with your son/brother, parents, sibling and all the friends who were surely waiting for him at heavens gate.. There was a really loud crack of thunder on Thursday night.. I Iooked at Pete and said Murphy has made his way Home... The angels have their work cut out for them.
I hope you all find comfort in knowing he was loved by so many and was always able to make us laugh. We will celebrate his life with plenty of "one more no mores."
We will miss him. Foxhill Road and the "plaza" will nver be the same.

Sincere condolences to Kristin, Jeanette, and Karen.
I had the privilege of being Kevin’s nurse for three and a half years, and I still remember day one—his laugh was contagious. Though I didn’t get to know Kevin in his prime, I stood by him through his most vulnerable moments, and he quickly became more than just a patient—he became family.
Kevin was a fighter. No matter how many setbacks came his way, he found the strength to rally. His resilience was awe-inspiring. And despite the circumstances, he never lost his spirit. Bringing him Denville Dairy or Denville Dogs became a small tradition, and he lit up with joy—he was happiest when he was eating, and that still makes me smile.
Even when we know the day will come, it never makes the goodbye easier. I carry so many fond memories of Kevin in my heart, and I’m grateful for the friendships that grew around him.
Murphy, I hope you’ve found a cold one up there, maybe even shared with my dad—be sure to say hello for me. Until we meet again, rest easy.
