Gerri Lee Suk, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 64. Gerri was a woman of remarkable strength, compassion, and dedication, and her loss leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Gerri was born on September 29, 1960, in Denville, NJ, to Charles and Dorothy Suk. She was raised alongside her siblings on a family farm, where she spent over 20 years learning the value of hard work, and developing a deep appreciation for family and tradition. This formative experience instilled in her a strong work ethic and a commitment to doing things with care and attention.

After graduating from Morris Knolls High School in 1978, Gerri pursued her interest in criminal justice with an associate degree from County College of Morris. She also graduated with honors from the Horizon Institute of Paralegal Studies. She went on to work at Lowe’s Home Improvement. She floated between various departments, always eager to help wherever she was needed, and her strong work ethic made her an invaluable asset to the team.

Outside of work, Gerri was a passionate and creative spirit. She had a love for photography, always capturing beautiful moments and memories through her lens. She found great joy in spending time with her daughter, Jessica, embarking on their countless adventures together. Gerri was also an avid reader; she could never turn down a good book.

Above all, Gerri was a family woman. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Gerri’s nurturing spirit, infectious laughter, and warm heart will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jessica Calcagne, her partner Craig Darling, her siblings, John Suk and Tracey Suk, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Gerri's legacy will live on in the cherished memories she leaves behind, and her love will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to call her family or friend. No services will be held, but we urge you to use this page to commemorate Gerri’s life by sending condolences, sharing a memory, or lighting a candle to continue to let Gerri’s light shine!
