


Obituary of Jennifer Rosania
Jennifer (Spadone) Rosania, 75, of Boonton, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on May 19, 2025.
Born in East Orange, NJ, Jennifer lived in several communities throughout New Jersey before settling in Boonton, where she spent her later years. Jennifer graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School as well as The Park Beauty School. As a child and into her later teen years, Jennifer, studied and performed Dancing and Tap Dancing. On the dance floor she was gracious and able enough to try out for The Rockettes and even contributed in televised performances.
Jennifer also went back to further her education at William Paterson University and Caldwell College. Jennifer operated and managed her family’s jewelry and coin and collectable shop. Using her knowledge and skills from her experience she went on to earn the position of Jewelry Retail Manager at Fortunoff. She also earned her cosmetics and beautician licenses which she used to open her own salon in Verona, NJ, Sheer Perfection. She maintained her licenses throughout 2025.
She and her sister Rene’ also started their own florist shop in Totowa, NJ, Blooms and Baskets. However, Jennifer did dedicate most of her professional life to the Cedar Grove Board of Education. She started as a Teacher’s Aide and worked her way to the South End School Secretarial position. She was then promoted to the Special Services Department and from there went on to become an Administrative Secretary. Jennifer retired in 2019.
Throughout her time at the C.G.B.O.E. she was a proud member of the N.J.E.A. Jennifer loved Cape May, NJ and eventually got into real estate in that area. She was inspired by French Country Victorian design and decoration. She took this inspiration and applied it to her home and her property. In her later years, Jennifer, could always be found outside of her home, or in her brook, maintaining and making things even more beautiful. A woman of compassion and care, Jennifer was also a devoted foster parent for many years and a lifelong animal lover. As a dedicated mother, she became the North End School F.S.A.
President to serve not just her son, but, all of the students in that school.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Rosania; her father and mother Frank and Olympia (Pisciotti) Spadone; her cherished brother Dennis Spadone; her sister-in-law Michele Spadone; and her dear aunt Marie Pisciotti.
Jennifer is survived by her loving son Frank and his fiancé Lorin; her siblings Tom Spadone, Rene Spadone DeGraw, and Glenn Spadone; her nieces and nephews Christopher Spadone, Nicholas Spadone, Katie Reo, Michael Spadone, Marie Claire Durnion, Emma Spadone, and Karalyn Spadone. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Jennifer was a devoted pet mom to many beloved animals over the years, including Memphis, Brown Bear, Whisper, Derby, Holly, Charlie, Fiona, Stevie, Tom, Poncho, Hopps, Furby and many other fur angels.
Private services were held under the care of Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834.
Jennifer will be remembered for her generosity, consideration for others, resilience, strength and the deep love she gave to both people and animals alike. She will be forever missed.
