Carmen Pasquale DeAngelo passed away on April 21, 2025 in Morristown, New Jersey, surrounded by his two children, Linda DeAngelo-Bradish and Michael DeAngelo, and his wife Marie DeAngelo. Carmen was 83 years old.

Carmen was born in Newark, New Jersey, lived in the Indian Lake area in Denville, New Jersey for 45 years, and then spent his last 5 years in the Fox Hills community in Rockaway, New Jersey.

Carmen worked for 54 years for the Saint Mary’s Hospital center in Orange, New Jersey as the Director of Maintenance for the facility. He was incredibly dedicated to ensuring the hospital (and later nursing home) was always running for the patients and residents. And he was considered a fixture in the building based on his kind words for everyone and cheery disposition. After retiring, the Board room of the medical center was renamed to The Carmen DeAngelo Board Room in honor of his years of support and service.

Carmen lived an incredibly full life in his 83 years. All those who knew him were touched by his enormous heart, his kind words, and his amazing smile. Growing up, and throughout his life, he spent countless time at the Jersey Shore in Lavalette and Seaside Heights and made a lifetime of memories there with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and traveling to the Bahamas, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City. He had a passion for his New York Mets and Giants and was able to attend two World Series and a Super Bowl. And, he never stopped working on his tan even into his 80s. Carmen was an amazing father attending countless softball, baseball, football and basketball games to cheer on his daughter and son. And he was a great provider keeping food on the table and treating his wife and children to multiple trips to Disney World.
