Great memories of Christmas cookie swaps and recipes swaps. I still have three of Ellen's recipe cards she gave to me. Always great to have I want to cross the street to run to for advice or just a friend talk.

Mrs Schmidt had such an impact on working with my little guy. The Kindergarten transition was challenging and she provided extra tlc that was more than a mom could ever ask for. She will be missed tremendously. Sending love and prayers to her friends and family.

My condolences to the Schmitt family. I had the privilege of working with Ellen at Birchwood. We were so lucky to have her support in our classrooms for all of her years of service. Although I never directly worked with Ellen, whenever I would pass her in the halls she always took the time to ask about my kids. Ellen was always checking in and always celebrating our milestones. We will certainly miss all of the support, dedication, and service she gave to our school.

Ellen was a good friend to me. She was a good listener and didn't judge. Although we were very different we always managed to balance each other out. Her love for her family was always her priority. It was always a topic of our conversations.
To the Schmitt family. In your time of sorrow may you find peace in all the love and wonderful memories she left behind. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

Jason and Eric. So sorry to hear the news about your mom. I do remember her at some of your matches. She was a big fan of you two during your tennis days at Morris Knolls. My prayers to all of the Schmitt family.

While I didn't know Mrs. Schmitt personally, I've had the pleasure of knowing her son Eric. Eric and I starting working together in 2016, when a few days later my own mother passed away from pancreatic cancer. Eric came to the funeral when he barely knew me. Getting to know him and work together was a testament to what a great mother she was. In fact, I remember her coming to the office one day! Eric is hard worker and an amazing friend. My husband and I had the pleasure of shooting his & Chelsea's wedding photos and videos. Getting to see him interact with his loving family was beautiful. My heart breaks for all of you, especially knowing how close you were. Wishing you healing during this horrible time. <3

Knowing Ellen since my teenage years I always knew she was a special person loved by her family and friends.
My heartfelt condolences to Gerry and the entire family!
She will be missed but forever remembered !
