Who can forget the Masucci's? Back in grammar school Jay was already known for his good looks, and Joanie was right behind him, just as good looking. Joan was also a good student and had a great singing voice. I will always remember her exuberance and her enthusiasm, those lively eyes filled with mischief and the joy of living. She was a pleasure to know.

I met Joanie at the police dept when I had to have finger prints taken for my job! She was amazing the laughs we had Everytime I would visit I would also bring her coffee she was the nicest the most amazing person I have ever met. The laughs we had will be forever in my heart! She bragged about your family all the time the light in her eyes and smile she loved you all with all her heart. She will be with me for ever and her laughs I could still here. Joanie thank you for the memories thank you for the many laughs even at the police station. Marcy Rattay

Joanie, thank you for your friendship, hard work and kindness. The Police Department was a family and you were the matriarch. You touched many peoples lives and your welcoming smile always brightened up someone’s day. You will be missed by so many people! My condolences to Pete and her loving family. Whenever she spoke of you, the smile was always bright. She loved you all very much!

Oh Joanie, you are so well loved! Our years together with all our Sisters at Mount St. Dominic Academy were filled with love and laughter, and a lot of mischief to keep things very interesting! So thank you for the memories, and for teaching us all what a champion does to fight for her life. To her family, I hope you find solace in the light she leaves behind.

So many fond memories of Joan. Best friends in grammar school and through our early teens, we both certainly had a knack for mischief. From rolling up her skirts to make them shorter, to dressing up as nuns and fooling a bunch of people and even taking the family car to cruise around Livingston, I don't think I have laughed as long or as hard since. I could go on and on with the memories. She was a fun-loving, beautiful soul, who I will miss forever. My heartfelt condolences to her husband Pete, her brother Jay, and her children and grandchildren.
