Oh, Stubbs…I know I’m late to the posting party but it’s just because I don’t know how to put 36 years into words. Almost every Satellite Beach memory I have is tied to you from the first time I met you at the pool when I was ten (I thought you were so cool with your green toe nail polish) to the antics of my dad and John to all the parties and happy hours and “dress up night” dinners. We laughed, we cried, we healed, we did life there, at our beach. I don’t know what it will be like now—other than less fun—but every time I go, I’ll know you’re there with me & every time I see a bunny by the dunes I’ll think, “there’s Stubbs saying hi.” My deepest condolences to the entire Stubbs family. Your mom/grandma was wonderful and such an important part of my life.
So, as we ended very phone call, I love ya Stubbs!

Mrs Stubbs’ smile lit up every room she entered. She was my neighbor, first real boss, mom to my good friend Michelle and basically family! She will truly be missed! Thinking of all of you and sending love and prayers during this sad time! Ann Marie Gardzalla Alberts.

Carol was fun and generous. Known for her spiked hair, big glasses and her flair for stylish clothes. She also knew and sang every word to every song at any show we ever went to. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all of her friends in the BratPack.

I met Carol through Curves, we called her Spike, due to her hair do. She also joined my husband and I on a wonderful trip to China, with many laughs. And trying to fill out our visas. Miss you Carol. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may you rest in peace.

I'll always remember Carol's infectious laugh and warm personality. I had the honor to have her cook me tripe because she knew I loved it; not too many people are that brave haha. We once took a walk at the Brick Resevoir because she had never been there. The conversation was so easy even though we only knew each other for a short period of time. I'll miss her at gatherings. Well done, Carol

More than 20 years ago, while hosting a summer barbecue, I met Carol and John through their son Walter. Over the years Carol and I became good friends, bonding over music (Springsteen, Pitbull and Sinatra), fun times and an occasional glass of wine. She was the most loving and generous friend anyone could ask for. I'm so lucky to have had her in my life. She will be in my heart forever.

I have so many good memories of Carol that it is hard to pick just one. But the one that does come to mind, is when a group of us went out to a lunch at restaurant in Brick Township. Carol said to me, “Tony you always buy when we go out to dinner with your wife, so, this time I want to pay. She then added, and I know that you love clams and oysters.” She proceeded to ordered 48 oysters!! Love Tony.

I met Carol thru her friend, Linda Similo. I would visit for a few weeks in the winter. I remember traveling to Canada with her on a cruise, She brought two large suitcases filled with beautiful clothes. I packed lite & wished I had brought more like her.
Loved her Super Bowl parties.
My deepest sympathy to her family & friends.

Grandma Stubbs , thank you for opening your home to my family . I am blessed and grateful for the million smiles and laughs that came along with our weekends with the Stubbs at the beach. Not knowing what was ahead with my family, no words can say how lucky I am to close my eyes and relive them. Cheers to wonderful women with a heart of gold. You will be forever within me. Your strength, outgoing fun personality are what dreams of made of. I hope I get so lucky to smile as big as you. Praying for family that the her soul will forever be with them. God Bless.
