It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Donald Smith on March 2, 2025, at the age of 55. His time here was cut short, but the love and laughter he brought to those around him will live on in our memories forever.

Keith was born on December 7, 1969, to Maxine and Donald Smith in Morristown, NJ. Raised in a loving home alongside his siblings, Jeffrey and Wendy, Keith attended Morris Knolls High School, where his bright smile and warm personality made him known to all. After high school, Keith made his home in Denville, NJ, where he built a successful career as a truck driver. His pride in his work was evident in the meticulous care he took in maintaining his truck, always keeping it sparkling clean. His unmatched work ethic and generosity of spirit turned many colleagues into lifelong friends, all of whom will miss his presence dearly.

Keith had a passion for powerful machines, which was evident in his lifelong love for NASCAR. He attended numerous races over the years, eagerly seeking out the roar of the engines at famous tracks. As a dedicated New York Giants fan, Keith spent countless hours cheering on his team, following every game with unwavering enthusiasm.

Beyond his passions and interests, Keith was an incredibly loving brother and uncle. He cherished time spent with his family, always keeping in touch, whether in person or through playful banter in the family group chat. His jokes and lightheartedness were a constant source of joy to his loved ones.

Keith’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication. He may no longer be with us, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his siblings, Jeffrey Smith (Rebeccah), Wendy Tupaczewski (Artie), his nieces and nephews, Cory (Stefanie), Shane, Alicia, Elizabeth and Matthew, his grandniece and grandnephew, Jack and Amelia as well as a multitude of friends and colleauges who will remember him fondly.

Keith, your laughter, love, and generosity will forever be a part of us.
