Obituary of Delea Webb
Delea M. Webb, 63
Beloved Wife, Sister and Aunt.
Delea M Webb, 63, of Denville, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 27th 2025, at Hackensack University Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Her memory will live on with every sunrise, with each one being her greatest joy.
Born in Neptune, NJ to John and Denise (Sullivan) Capobianco. Delea was raised alongside her brother and two sisters in Shark River Hills, NJ. Delea graduated from Stockton University with a degree in psychology. Delea met the love of her life, Michael J Webb in 2007 and together they lived in Denville, NJ with her beloved cats Jack (“her little man”) and previously Sam.
Delea was strong, had a big heart and cared for others deeply. She dedicated herself over 23 years to helping others while working at Monmouth County Human Services where she worked her way up to supervisor before deservedly retiring in 2015.
Delea is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael, her brother Chris and his wife Dafna, two sisters Marisa and Daria, ten nieces and nephews and two great nephews. She loved all her nieces, nephews and great nephews very much, always remembering to send them something on birthdays and holidays. Delea was preceded in death by her parents John and Denise.
Delea’s life revolved around her family and making sure her beloved cats were happy and healthy. Those who knew Delea will remember her for her beautiful smile, her laughter, her love of nature and her love of CHOCOLATE. She loved, and was very good at, taking pictures of the beauty and inspiration of the outside world, especially sunrises. She also loved making her home beautiful and cheerful and dabbled in writing, including poetry.
When you see a beautiful sunrise, smile and think of Delea. They brought her great joy.
A celebration of Delea’s life will be conducted at Norman Dean Funeral Home, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07034, between 12 pm and 2 pm on March 23rd, 2025.
