Obituary of Patricia A. Stevens

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Patricia A. Stevens, of Mount Arlington, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Monday, April 4, 2022 at ExcelCare at Dover. She had shared 80 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Born and raised in Manhattan, NY to the late John and Bernice Boyki, Patricia was one of three children to bless the Boyki household. She attended St. Anthony’s School in Greenwich Village before relocating with her family to Roxbury, NJ, where Patricia graduated High School, Class of 1959. She married her soulmate and best friend, Jack Stevens, on September 24, 1960. Together they found their forever home in Mount Arlington, where they raised their children. Patricia was a hard worker; she began her career at the Morris County Board of Education, worked for a period of time at a lawyer’s office, and then found her niche as a Realtor. She began her employment with Hoffman Ingrum in Landing, which turned into Weichert Realtors in Roxbury, and ultimately retired from Re/Max in Randolph after over 35 years of dedicated work.

Patricia was a devoted wife and doting mother and grandmother. She took annual trips camping and to Disney with her children and grandchildren. Jack and her enjoyed the cruises they went on after retirement, exploring the world. Her guilty pleasure was shopping! Patricia loved looking her best in beautiful jewelry and her famous sparkly hats. She was classy and worthy. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is out of pain, and we have the greatest Guardian Angel watching out for us from above.

She leaves only joyful memories to her beloved husband of 61 years, Jack; her loving children, John T. Stevens, Dana Genovese, and Christa Dulio and her husband Joseph; her cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Joseph, Jack, Hannah, Kameryn, Sydney and her husband Vincent, and Mia; her treasured 12 great-grandchildren; her caring sisters, Jill Earl and her husband Gary and Jacqueline Guanci; and many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
