Thomas L. (Tibor) Marshall passed away at his home in Denville, NJ, surrounded by his family on March 30, 2021, at the age of 92.
Born in Baja, Hungary, Tibor emigrated to the United States in 1957 and lived in Clifton before moving to Passaic, NJ where he raised his family from 1970 till 2016 when he moved to Denville, NJ.
Tibor was a self-employed contractor in the construction business working in both New Jersey and New York. He owned a dog farm in Roxbury, New York in the Catskills for many years where he raised German Shepherds and Great Danes.
He was predeceased by his sister Camilla Marshall and by his brother Frank Zalasdy.
Tibor is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Charlotte (Karacsony) Marshall of Denville, NJ and by his loving sons Laszlo Marshall and his wife Olga Marshall of Towaco, and Thomas Marshall and his wife Marta Huszti of Denville, NJ as well as his grandchildren Kende, Timea, Maria, Hanga, Katika, Mikolt, and Julia.
A Memorial Mass in Tibor's native language of Hungarian will be held on Saturday, April 17th at 11:00am at St. Stephen’s R.C. Magyar Church in Passaic, NJ under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
