Rose,John,Marty,Theresa,Jimmy,
We feel your sorrow so deeply. Jim will forever live on in our thoughts. He was a man of substance.
He made an impact on people and in life. An impact made first through his mere presence. Enter a room and he would not go unnoticed - tall, good looking, outgoing and personable.
His basketball talents were applied both on and off the court...swift, energetic, determined, focused, a winning outlook and a can do attitude.
Let's play ball (of all sizes) - from basketball to softball to golf. He handled each sport with the same eagerness and proficiency.
God had a plan for Jim to live and enjoy life, work hard and do well. He helped many others and touched many souls through his devotion to Cystic Fibrosis. His earthly deeds are immeasurable. The people who knew Jim through all walks of life and called him friend were blessed by having shared a part of their life with him.
Above all else, Jim's family came first in his life. It was evident to everyone that he took great pride in his loving family incluing Julia, Colette and Seif. He will always remain a part of who you are.
O Sweet Jesus,
I desire neither life, nor death,
but Your most holy will.
You are the One, O Lord, that I long for.
If it be Your holy will to have me die, receive my soul;
and grant that in You and with You,
I may receive everlasting rest.
It if be Your holy will to have me live longer upon this earth,
give me the grace to amend the rest of my life,
and with good works to glorify Your Holy Name.
Amen.
