David stood up for his workers against the system. He was dedicated to his children and son he visited in the hospital when he wasn't working 2 jobs. He was humble. He didn't play ego games as a supervisor like most did. He wrote great letters.
My condolences and prayers to the entire Welch family. I will always cherish the talks Dave and I had over the past few years. He would reminisce about his service in the Navy and tell me stories from when he was a child. We shared several meals together at his favorite restaurant Southern Charm and he was always happy when I would visit him in Cape Canaveral and bring him homemade goodies and meals from home. He will be greatly missed, may he rest peacefully in his Lord's hands eternally.
