                                                                    Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Mareen Walls (Linert) passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ on September 5, 2017, at the age of 67.

Born in Fürstenwalde, Germany to Adolf and Elisabeth Linert, she had moved to the United States in 1972 and married her husband. She had lived in Miami, FL, Houston, TX, and Saudi Arabia before moving to Rockaway, NJ in 1991. While staying home to raise her children, Mareen became an avid toy and jewelry collector and doll enthusiast. She found a special place in her heart for antiques, restoring and collecting treasures that brought her joy. She loved spending her time going to flea markets, rummage and garage sales searching for those lost or forgotten treasures. She enjoyed repairing dolls and jewelry spending time to make certain that every detail was just right. She was an avid reader who enjoyed science fiction, fantasy and crime novels. She would travel back to Germany every year to see her family who she remained very close with even though she lived so far away. Mareen and her husband spent the last few years traveling all over the United States and Europe. Taking numerous cruises such as one to the Fjords and one to Russia.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Alfred Walls and her loving children, Martina Crance and her husband, Scott, her son, Mario Walls, and her youngest daughter, Tanya Walls, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Mason and Evan Crance. Predeceased by her mother, father and her two sisters, Sabine Everhart and Regine Hess, Mareen is also survived by her 4 brothers Gernot Linert, Gunther Linert, Marko Linert and Michael Linert and her sister, Christine Ehinger in Germany and Belgium.

Memorial visitation will take place from 2-4 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017, with a short memorial service beginning at 3 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834, from 2-4 PM.
