Obituary of Joseph Michael Tironi

Joseph Michael Tironi passed away at his home in Denville, NJ on March 26, 2017, at the young age of 50. Born in Denville, he grew up in Rockaway and then moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville 24 years ago. He was a graduate of Morris Knolls High School and attended the Chubb Institute of Technology. He spent most of his career at AIG working in IT. Joe adored his two sons, and spent most of his time watching and attending sports with them. He was an avid hockey fan and loved the NJ Devils as well as the NY Giants football team. He was predeceased by his mother Rita (Grawehr) Tironi in 2009. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Noelle M. (Allaman) Tironi of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by his two loving sons Trevor and Dante Tironi, both of Denville. His father Rocco Tironi of Rockaway, his grandmother Margaret Tironi of Rockaway, his siblings Rocco Tironi Jr., of Franklin, Linda Tironi of Newton, Maria (Brian) O'Dowd of Mendham, and Donna (Bill) Backes of Denville, and his extended family, Cheryl Allaman, Russell and Tina Allaman, Timothy Allaman, Jennifer and Joe Cuff as well as his nieces & nephews Rocco III, Nikki & Kelsee Tironi, Christopher & Nicholas Leonardi, Evan & Aidan O'Dowd, Connor, Emily & Sarah Backes, Brianna, Brittani & Braeden Allaman and Joey & Olivia Cuff survive him. Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Friday March 31, 2017, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment Services will follow at Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8PM.
