Obituary of Irving Lowe
Irving Lowe passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, February 10th. He shared 71 years of love, friendship and travel with his family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 10am at the Norman Dean Home For Service, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to one of his favorite organizations through www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
Irv was born in Kingston, NY to the late Walter and Mary. He graduated from Marist College and then earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked as a physicist, retiring as VP of Operations from Telic Optics. Through the years he lived in NJ, LI, NH and Florida. He enjoyed traveling and did much of it. When his boys were small, there was always a road trip to be taken. Irv enjoyed stopping and seeing the sights throughout our country. He spent lots of time in Florida through these cold winters and enjoyed the rides there and back where he would stop to see his grandchildren. Above everything, he loved his family and being surrounded by them; especially his devoted wife Agi. Irv will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves beautiful memories to his wife Agi (nee Szemes) Lowe; his sons Geoffrey (Elizabeth) and Gregory (Colleen); their mother, Irv’s former wife, Barbara Marshall; adored grandchildren Madison, Brayden, Tiffany, Ashley and Zachary; siblings Gwen Wood (Michael) and Kevin Lowe (Jane); Agi’s children David (Erica) and Amanda Ward (Will Skinner); his loyal companions Buddy and Cassidy and many more dear relatives, friends and colleagues. Irv was preceeded in death by his late wife Barbara Lowe of 36 years.
