Obituary of Barbara Flynn

Barbara “Bobbie” Flynn passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016. She shared 85 years of love and laughter with her family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 10am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Friends and relatives may visit on Tuesday, December 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Please share your memories with her family at www.normandean.com Bobbie was born to the late Constans and Mildred Meyer in 1931. After her schooling she met and married John Flynn and the couple settled in the Indian Lake section of Denville. She worked as a waitress for many years, a job which she enjoyed. She was able to meet new people every day and enjoyed the conversation. She also worked for many years at Hewlett Packard in Rockaway. Above everything, Bobbie was an amazing wife, Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She loved her family and being surrounded by them. Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Flynn and her daughter Jill Dux; she leaves happy memories to her four daughters Bonnie and Whit Atchison, Honey Bear and Bob Dugan, Kathleen and Rick Guerrieri and Linda Rivera and Bob Durham; 14 adoring grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister Karen Connolly; and many more loving relatives and dear friends.
