Obituary of Claudine Berthe Venne

Please share a memory of Claudine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Claudine Venne passed away on September 1, 2016, after a long and courageous fight against Breast Cancer. She was 49 years old. She was the founder of Deluxe Spa, a spa management company with a major Spa location at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel. She was a successful entrepreneur who created other ventures, including a custom swimwear business. Claudine was the daughter of Eugene and Lise Labelle Venne, and was of French- Canadian Ancestry, although she was born in the Tampa, Florida area. Claudine lived a happy, fulfilled life, traveling many times to Europe, the Carribean, California, Florida and many places she loved. She was a fun–loving, nurturing, caring woman with a great sense of humor. She loved fine food, wine, and the occasional Blue Moon with an orange Wedge. She was an amazing cook. Despite her busy schedule, she had a gift for slowing down life and relaxing. Her great passion was Deluxe Spa, and she had an amazing talent for creating a relaxing, soothing experience for her customers, though hard work, imagination and attention to detail. The Spa remains in the care of those closest to Claudine, and we will honor her memory by fulfilling her vision of making the Spa a haven of relaxation and comfort for her loyal customers. She always valued the hard work and dedication of her colleagues at the Spa; Mary, Jessie, Michelle, Judy and others, many of whom were close friends as well. Claudine is loved and missed by her sisters Christine, Suzanne, Diane and brother Louis. She was a beloved Aunt to her sister’s children, most notably Dylan and Autumn. She was a beloved companion to Adam, and loved also by his children Aaron and Alana. Claudine also adored Pablo, her Shitsu that she took under her wing after her brain surgery last year. And she is missed by many other friends and family that crossed her path, felt her love, and marveled at her beauty. Claudine battled her sickness with the same courage and optimism that she lived her life. Her suffering, sometimes too hard for us to bear, is over now. It is time for all of us who loved and love her to honor her memory by letting in the warm light of of an incredible life, well and happily lived. We all miss Claudine, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we had with her. Rest in peace.
