Ann Marie Del Favero (nee Held) of Denville, formerly of Fair Lawn and Garfield, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville. Ann loved to take care of others which led to a successful career as a Registered Nurse and served in the office of Dr. Joseph P. Catania of Garfield. She was very active at Franciscan Oaks in Denville. Prior to relocating to Denville, she was a resident of Fair Lawn where she was active at the Senior Citizens Center, including serving as president for the Livewires Club. She was a spirited competitor when it came to playing her favorite games, Bridge, Scrabble, or Rummikub. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend that will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her siblings, Richard, Joseph, Edward, and Catherine, she is survived by her husband, Siro A. Del Favero of Boonton; her adored daughter, Lisa and her husband Paul Elwood of Hillsborough, son Donald and his wife Kenita Del Favero of Apex, NC, and son Glenn and his wife Kari Del Favero of Columbia, MD; her cherished grandchildren, Dillon, Shawn, Derek, Madeline, Nicolas, and Abigail; and her adored sisters, Dolores and Margaret. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd at 11:00 am at Saint Anne’s Church, 15-05 St. Anne St., Fair Lawn, 07410. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 21st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville.
