Obituary of Klaus Zuger

Klaus Zuger of Rockaway NJ died on the morning of March 15, 2016. He had a long and fulfilled life and died peacefully surrounded by those who loved him. He died at Morristown Memorial Hospital from a heart illness. Although born in Switzerland, he had made the USA his country and permanent residence since 1955. Klaus worked on Wall Street and retired as the Chief Investment Officer of EuroPartners Securities Corporation, later acquired by Credit Lyonnais. After his retirement, he had been very active as Chairman of Membership of the Essex Skating Club for the last 16 years. Klaus appreciated all the beauty of life, taking pleasure in the changing seasons, strolls in the park and driving around the countryside. He also loved taking in the sun on the deck of our house and walking around the lake. He was a generous, kind, big hearted, loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Tessie, his brother Heiny and sister in law Hortense, and his children Chris Zuger, Victor Lugo and his wife Cheryl, Ceci (Zuger) Talakoub and her husband Dave Talakoub. He was also proud of his 5 grandchildren, Tristan, Gabriel, Alex, Annabelle and Lucas. He will be missed dearly and will remain always in the hearts of his family and friends.
