Obituary of Marie Tomasiello

Please share a memory of Marie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marie Tomasiello passed away after a long battle with breast cancer on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 59 years young. Born and raised in Newark, her family relocated to West Orange when she was 15 years old. She has lived and raised her family in the Rockaway area for the past 27 years. Marie was an extremely hard worker whether it was in her career as a bank teller, taking care of her family, going to garage sales with her sister, or doing yard work. She was a very kind soul to everyone that had the honor of meeting her. She loved to play Bunco, read magazines, and spend time with her family at Point Pleasant Beach. Marie was a dedicated mother and the most important thing in her life was her family, especially her three girls. She has left a legacy of commitment, honesty, friendship, and love. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of many including her cherished daughters, Christina, Paige, and Renae O'Donnell; her caring brother, Frank Tomasiello; her loving sisters, Lisa Robertson and Michelle and Anna Tomasiello; her worshiped dogs, Achilles and Whiskey; and numerous other extended family and friends. Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 24th at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, from 4 – 8 pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you kindly consider a donation in Marie's memory to 11th Hour Rescue or Morristown Hospice Care by way of inmemoryof-memorial.org. Please leave a condolence for her family.
