Adeline Annese, 89, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. Born and raised in Lodi, she has been a lifelong area resident. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Cecilia's R.C. Church in Rockaway. Her favorite Mass was one where her granddaughter, Jennifer, was the soloist. Adeline was an avid reader and an expert at using her kindle to play her word game. She loved church, crossword puzzles, and amongst her favorite things to do was to knit clothes for her family. Above all else, her family was the light of her life. She loved to spend time with them and cook and bake for them. Adeline was a very classy, beautiful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that left a legacy of love, laughter, and family togetherness. She will forever live in the hearts and souls of her family. Predeceased by her siblings, Angelina, Constance, Salvatore, Christopher, Joseph, Richard and Ronald, she is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Martin Annese; her adored children, Cynthia (Joseph) Delano of Waretown, Marlene (the late Frank) Zimmerman of Rockaway, Martin (Vesna) Annese of Mountain Lakes; and Christopher (Maureen) Annese of Parsippany; her cherished grandchildren, Gina (Gary), Kristin (Drew), Jennifer, Joseph (fiancé Amy), Timothy, Connor, Peyton, Nicholas, and Kyle; her loving great-grandchildren, Brittany, Joseph, Alexandra, and Angelina; her caring sisters, Rose (Joe), Mary (Jim), and Stella; and many nieces and nephews.
