Obituary of Geoffrey Giordano

Geoffrey Giordano, passed away on Saturday, October 10th, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years young. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15th at 10am at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Friends and relatives may visit on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave. Denville. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in his memory to the good work of the Barnabas Health Foundation c/o Heart Transplant/Heart Failure Program, 95 Old Short Hills Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. Jeff enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his basement. He made many beautiful gifts for his family and friends. He enjoyed antiquing and country rides into Pennsylvania and New York. He was well known in the neighborhood, always looking after the kids, feeding neighborhood dogs and lending a hand. He was kind, generous and cheerful. And he possessed an enthusiastic spirit which has not left us. Above all, Jeff loved spending time with his family; especially his grandson Michael. He was the light of his life and has brought much joy to the family. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Hilda Cifrese; he leaves only happy memories to his daughters Kerry Lockburner and Jill Giordano, grandson Michael Lockburner; former spouse Anne Giordano, brother Frank Giordano, nieces Pamela and Bonnie, nephew Michael; and many more loving cousins, relatives and friends.
