Obituary of Dennis Biegel

Dennis Biegel Palm City, Florida, formerly, Denville Dennis E. Biegel passed away on 8/11/15. Born on 1/17/43 in Passaic, NJ where he later attended and graduated Clifton High School. Dennis married Cheryl Belli on 11/11/67 in Clifton, NJ to whom he was devoted during their marriage of 48 years. They moved to Cedar Lake, Denville, NJ to raise their two daughters. Dennis spent countless hours volunteering his time as Coach of the Denville PAL girls track team and drove a school bus for LS Young and Sons, taking Morris Catholic High School students to school before his full time job at Warner Lambert Co. (Pfizer) where he was a dedicated employee for more than 30 years, before retirement. An avid fisherman, hunter and boater, he took pride in teaching his children and grandchildren fishing. Lovingly called “Pop” by his grandchildren and their friends, Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His sense of humor was loved by family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife Cheryl, daughters, Jennifer Gaynor of Palm City, Fl., Erin Ferrone and her husband James Ferrone of Rockaway, NJ, grandchildren, Christopher Gaynor, Corey Gaynor, Alexandra Ferrone and James Ferrone, his aunt, Emily Soptei; dear cousins Donna Kalinski and Dean Harte; and many more friends and acquaintances. Friends and relatives may visit on Friday, October 9th from 4-7 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10th at 11 am at St. Cecelia’s Church, Rockaway, NJ. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in his name to the good work of St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
