Obituary of John L Ferrallo

John L. Ferrallo, 91, died on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Shorrock Gardens Care Center in Tom's River, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Maspeth, Queens, NY before moving to Rockaway Township, NJ in 1958, later moving to Tom's River in 2011. He served in the US Army during WWII and following the war he went to work for Midland-Ross Corp. working for 40 years and retiring as a plant supervisor in 1982. His wife of 66 years Theresa Scarpati died on March 14, 2012. He is survived by his children, Barbara and Arthur Santo of Rockaway Twp., Susan and Ken Banta of Winter Haven, Fla and John and Jennifer Ferrallo of Tom's River. He is also survived by his grandchildren Dawn and her husband Tracy Egbert, Kerry Ann and her husband Chris Zuck, Christopher and his wife Lisa Kunkel, Michele Ferrallo and Joseph Ferrallo as well as his nine great grandchildren. Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ on Sat. May 30, 2015 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Friday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Donations are being accepted to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
