Obituary of Harry M. Betzig

Harry M. Betzig, 93, of Denville, formerly of Mountain Lakes, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at their home on Monday, April 20, 2015. Born in Michigan, Harry graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburg with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. He was a dedicated member of St. Catherine of Siena Church where he was an Usher for 50 years. Harry was also a member of Yachi-Hugi and the "Top Row Gang" for Mountain Lakes Football and Lacrosse. He was also an avid Jets fan. Son of the late Harry and Frances Betzig, he is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Mildred Betzig of Denville; his adored daughters, Pat Manganaro and her husband Joe of Parsippany, Barbara White of Lake Hiawatha, and Nancy Ehringer and her husband Drew of Mountain Lakes; his cherished grandsons, Christopher White and his wife Kristen, Tyler Ehringer, Bradley Ehringer, and Kyle Ehringer. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 4-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 24th at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
