Rest in peace, John. You were such a wonderful friend, such a beautiful, intelligent and interesting person. I will always remember you!

I have such wonderful childhood memories growing up with the Zaloom Family...weekend trips to Paterson to visit Grandma Marie, Hoboken festivals, and our hikes on Parks Road to pick berries! You will be dearly missed. My thoughts are with all of you!

St. John's Cathedral H.S. was small, and the class of '59 was very close knit. John's smile was a light that everyone wanted to go to. I am so glad to have seen him at our reunion, and will cherish that memory. God bless his family in their sorrow for a very good man.

Dear Karen and family We saw John for the first time in 50 at our high school graduation recently and it was a joy to reconnect. He was a wonderful classmate, quiet but smart and his chosen career has proved his brilliance. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.
