Russell J. Flanagan

It has been a while since we've seen each other face to face...but it hasn't made the hurt of your passing any easier. You were truly always a pleasure to be around. You were so full of ambition and personality and you had one great sense of humor. You were also thoughful to a fault. I remember the time you tried to get to my school as fast as you could in the pouring rain, with only somewhat of a clue of where you were going, even though you just had a problem at home...just because you said you would be there with me. You missed the entire play, but it really meant so much that you were waiting by the door with a smile on your face when I came out. You have touched my life as well as many others and you will be strongly missed, friend. Two other memorable things I can also thank Russ for: 1) learning how to whistle correctly (it became a mission) 2) being inspired to quit smoking only two weeks ago. Thank you Russ.
